EXMOOR FAMILY HOLIDAYS
Self-catering holiday cottages at Town Tenement Farm
|
Good for families even in the winter |
The self catering holiday cottages at Town Tenement Farm are
ideal for your family holidays. With large interesting grounds, good local
facilities in the village, and an excellent central location, the cottages
are an ideal base from which to explore Exmoor and the spectacular coastline
of North Devon
The cottages have well equipped kitchens and a cot, high chair, stair gate and fire-guard are available without charge. Clothes washing and drying facilities are available, either in your cottage or in a separate laundry room. There is a good local shop and Post Office a short walk away (300 yards) and you can order groceries ready for your arrival. Near to the shop is an award winning inn which serves award winning home made food and real ales, and there is a small playground and beer garden outside |

| The enchanting grounds at the cottages are a wildlife
wonderland for children. They can (at parental discretion) explore the paths around Humphrey's Hill,
play in the Delve and scramble through the woods, build dens, play hide and
seek in the long grass, investigate the wildlife pond, search for small
frogs, lizards and slow worms and sample the seasonal fruit and vegetables
from our gardens
In the village they can paddle in the ford or play in the beech forest nearby. After a long day out with the family, where better to relax than in the peaceful surroundings of Town Tenement Farm, whilst the children happily and safely roam around the hill |
