EXMOOR COTTAGE HOLIDAYS, in Challacombe, is an excellent base for bicycle and mountain biking holidays in North Devon, with some of the best cycle trails in the south of Britain. Access to the National Cycle Network is just a few miles away, which is a perfect way to see Exmoor, it also contributes to your green and eco friendly holidays.

For cycling holidays with the family, the Tarka Trail, which follows an old railway line, is one of the longest level routes in the south west of England and there are plenty of bicycle hire and repair shops along the way. Our favourite family route is from Fremington, where there is an excellent cafe beside the trail, to Instow, where we enjoy ice creams on the beach.

You can also explore Exmoor off road by mountain bike, and there are several places where you can hire and ride quad bikes. After a long day cycling in North Devon, where better to relax than in the peaceful gardens at EXMOOR COTTAGE HOLIDAYS, or beside a log fire in your comfortable cottage, whilst just a short walk away a traditional inn serves tempting home made food and real ales.
